It was my pleasure to meet a group of returned Peace Corps volunteers from the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. These people live around the D.C. area and invited me to join them for a get together. The differences in Costa Rica from when I served in 1974-75 were astounding to these volunteers. The kindness of the people of Costa Rica, however has 
remained a constant.
