Yesterday I traveled to Jefferson, Maryland to meet with an avid cyclist interested in the Grand History Trail. Joe Kelley has been riding bikes since he was a kid. He has been thinking of creating a trail from Frederick to Gettysburg for the last 25 years. He knows many cyclists in the area as well as community leaders and politicians. He is interested in helping to organize a meeting with these local folks and others who are working hard to complete sections of the GHT in other areas (HABPI in Gettysburg and the Rails to Trails staff). We plan to have this meeting soon after the Holidays.
