Don is also actively promoting a project known as the Grand History Trail, a unique conceptual interstate trail system that would connect 100 miles of existing disconnected trails to create a 300-mile circular pathway for non-motorized travelers.
Linking Washington, D.C., Maryland and Pennsylvania, the trail will provide a safe and enjoyable route through a region rich with historical, cultural and natural resources.
Towns the route will connect include Annapolis, Md.; Baltimore, Md.; Frederick, Md.; Washington, D.C.; Gettysburg, Pa.; and York, Pa.
